The beginning of the video shows splash learning to sidestep out in front of me without looking back, this is our newest trick. Kiko learns how to shake a blanket. Later I am just doing some play training with Tug. And at the very end, Splash decides to do the limbo under a stream of water… Splash makes me laugh everyday…

I trained this trick using blatant luring with food in two sessions: One session with just the two objects and the next session switching to Splash’s legs. A lot of trainers do not like to use luring because of the myth that it will be hard to get rid of the lure. The key with using luring is that you raise criteria rapidly.

Here is Splash and I improvising to the music of Avatar. We will be using this song for one of our routines. I am all over the place right now, so I thought posting this would give me a kick to get the routine down soon. I have gotten a bunch of ideas from just editing a couple days of practice sessions together. I loved the movie Avatar.
